What's your big dream? The one you would wish for if you had a genie in a bottle. The fact you're even here entertaining this thought is a HUGE step towards achieving it.

Now I bet as soon as I said you could achieve it there was an icky feeling that arose. Maybe a belief like "that could never happen". Well I'm here to tell you the future is anything but certain and what are you here for if not to chase your dreams!

Here are six questions you can ask yourself to get closer to your dream.

  1. What is my purpose?

This can be a heavy question, but it really doesn't have to be. You don't have to have it all figured out! Ask yourself this, what is most important for me to experience, explore and enjoy in this lifetime?

Dive into your inner passion and your true joy. What activities light you up? What did you enjoy as a child? What are your hobbies? When your goals are aligned with your higher self, the universe will guide you closer to your purpose.

  1. Is this my dream, or someone else's?

Are your dreams and goals your own, or what others think you "should" do? Follow your intuition on this one, deep down you know the answer.

It's not selfish to go after your own dreams. You can't give to others if you haven't given it to yourself first.

  1. Am I settling?

Are you resigned to accepting the status quo because you just don't think you can have the abundant love, wealth, health and success you want in this lifetime? Or perhaps you don't feel worthy of it?

True happiness can be found when you follow your passion.

  1. What will it feel like when I reach my dream?

Visualisation is a powerful tool in creating your dream life. Dive deep into the feeling of living your dream. What will you see, smell, feel, hear, taste and touch? What does your perfect day look like? Hold onto these feelings and recreate them whenever you can.

  1. What steps can I take toward my dream today?

If your dreams are really BIG (like mine are) work backwards until it starts to feel more realistic. Break it down to a yearly goal, then quarterly. Then go inward and ask yourself what is the next best step? Once you know what it is. Do it.

"To accomplish great things we must first dream, then visualize, then plan...believe... act!" -Alfred Montapert

  1. What limiting beliefs are holding me back from my dream?

Most people don't believe they can live their dream life. Growing up we created a belief system which we continue to find supporting evidence for. Then we start to use past experiences to predict future outcomes. But the future is anything but certain! Your logic and ego will try to convince you otherwise but stay the course. Your dreams are just around the corner.

Everyone deserves to dream and we are all destined to fulfill our purpose. So, what are you waiting for?
