How I Empowered My Client to Pursue Her $1.2 Million Sales Goal

 As a business coach, I often work with clients who are striving for BIG goals. One such client had a sales target of $1.2 million! πŸ€― Let me be clear, I have not yet hit the $1.2 million mark in my career. However, that does not mean I can't provide the guidance my client needed to reach her goal. Here's how we did it...

Understanding the Challenges

Like any other coach, I believe in understanding my client's struggles and challenges before setting out a game plan. This client had been through a tough few years in her business. The continuous struggles had dented her self-confidence and motivation. We spent time discussing these challenges and creating an understanding of the hurdles she was facing. This conversation was essential because, without understanding the problem, you can't devise a solution.

Breaking the Goal into Manageable Chunks

The next step was to break down the $1.2 million target into more manageable quarterly goals. We listed tangible action steps that she needed to take to achieve each of these quarterly goals. This process is crucial as it helps the brain comprehend the realistic nature of the goal and simplifies the process of achieving a large target. It also keeps you accountable and focused on the task at hand.

Identifying and Overcoming Limiting Beliefs

One of the significant hurdles we identified was a limiting belief that was preventing her from reaching her goal. She had developed a belief that she lacked the skills, abilities, and right ideas to keep the business going. This kind of negative belief is detrimental when trying to hit a big goal like $1.2M. It was clear that we needed to get rid of this limiting belief.

Installing Empowering Beliefs

We replaced the limiting belief with a new, empowering one: “I have the skills, abilities and right ideas to grow the business to 1.2M.” This new belief was instilled using a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) technique on the subconscious mind. The transformation took place over a single session. This powerful technique allowed my client to leave the session feeling confident, motivated, and ready to smash her sales goal.

Ready to Take Action

By the end of our session, my client was re-energised and raring to go. She felt equipped and empowered to take on her sales target head-on. It is proof that with the right mindset, strategies, and a little guidance, achieving ambitious goals is possible.
